In keeping with Steinway’s commitment to excellence, Steinway & Sons provides technical assistance for the production of Essex pianos, to insure that Essex pianos are made to the specifications established by Steinway. And every Essex instrument is inspected by a team of highly experienced Steinway & Sons trained technicians before it leaves the factory.

Essex pianos are available in upright models, ranging from the space efficient 42″ Continental Console to their acclaimed 48″ Studio that outperforms other brand’s full size studios.

Grand models range from the compact 5′1″ to 6′ and feature the Steinway & Sons “Model ‘A’ Wide-tail Design.”
