Donate Your Piano
Thank you for your interest in donating a piano to the Piano Bank!
Here are our general guidelines for pianos that are good candidates for the Piano Bank:
- Pianos less than 50-years old*
- Pianos with a bench (it does not have to match)
- Pianos that are clean of any signs of mold
- Cabinet damage including scrapes and water stains are acceptable.
Upright pianos (those that go against the wall) are typically the best for placements, however, we have had donors give grand pianos that are used for fundraising. We will discuss our best uses for your piano before we accept your donation.
*While older upright pianos are often beautiful to look at, they require thousands of dollars in repairs to make them playable for a student. We will verify the age of your piano when we receive your donation form.
